I Really Want to Write
I really want to write.
For years
I’ve been saying,
“I really want to write.”
I want more time,
more inspiration,
more motivation.
That’s what I’ve been saying.
I haven’t made the time,
have ignored inspiration,
and avoided motivation.
Perhaps it requires self-denial,
depravation,
pain,
sorrow, or
commitment.
Maybe I don’t want to write.
