Guilty By Experience
Why do you think I'm so innocent?
I am not.
'Keep your innocence'.
That's what they would say to me.
What innocence do I have?
Tell me.
I am guilty beyond measured.
I have been abused and neglected.
I am guilty of that.
These eyes have seen and been through things that i shouldn't have.
I am guilty of that.
To think about it,
I have been robbed of my innocence.
'Keep your innocence'
Is what they say to me.
Innocent?
That, I am not.
