Greed is the key
The architects of the plans calculated
Measured the inner depths
Startled by the results
In unison they agreed
East vs. West, wasn’t a real choice
A lethargic, content East
Too ego-centric, too secretive to share
Not hungry enough to press ahead
Not materialistic enough to strive
While plans demanded
Efforts frenetic
As a storm unheard of was
About to be unleashed
A magical era to dawn
The wizards knew
None but some vice
Could help accomplish the task
Demons of desires n greed
Descended from hell
Penetrated the minds of nations elect
New world emerged
Woven of ambitious desires
Expanded and driven by greed
With an incredible speed
Lo, the long awaited moment
Hastened to appear on horizon
The destroyer of Maya
Needed to be delivered from her womb
There lies the wisdom
For those who can perceive
The mysterious ways of Lord
