God Are You Still There?
God spoke to me today
And it was something fierce
God's voice was like thunder
And through my heart it pierced
God yelled at me today
Get your punk junk out of bed
God forgave me today
For all the blood I bled
God loved on me today
Like a sweet sweet mother's kiss
God lifted me today
Out of horror into bliss
God loved me today
And now I feel complete
God abandoned me today
To taste my own defeat
God, are you still there?
