For The Sake of Freedom
Staying to find what's new to life
makes me begin right where I stand.
There I see birds coming to the sea
as if exchanging views
on where they went,
letting the wind carry them on it's back
in sympathy with the way things are.
They altogether came to my attention,
not for my sake, but for their own.
