In fairytales
Everything seems so easy
The prince always has so much courage
And the princess always knows what to do
In fairytales,
The guy always gets the girl
And there's always a happy ending
In fairytales,
The pain only lasts for so long
Sometimes there no pain at all
But my life isn't a fairytale
Nothing is ever easy
My prince won't always have courage
And I almost never know what to do
Because my life isn't a fairytale
The guy won't always get me
The pain could last forever
And I might not get a happy ending
But as long as you're here for me,
There will always be a reason to smile.
