Fading Sentiments
Nothingness. Incompleteness encroaches,
You rise up higher and higher,
As obliviate darkness approaches
As limbs and internals tire.
You see that high gate,
That Wonder you thought was a lie,
Choices made, questioned by fate;
As destiny begins inwardly to cry.
You look behind you,
Familiar faces crying,
Tears fall from them too,
Like a stream of cascading feeling.
Irony kicks you deeply within,
Mere strangers at your birth,
Mow completely under your skin,
Walking you towards a new rebirth.
Turning, walking through the gate,
You mutter the words 'Goodbye'
Heart bursts, sentiments too late
They leave, you continue. Home now sky.
