Empty Handed
You chose to draw the line
And look where we landed
We had a pocket of full of sunshine
Yet, we came back
Empty handed
You and I,
We had our share,
The good times we had
Now it's time,
To let go,
Time to say goodbye
And the end always
Makes me sad
Why did you have to go?
That is something
I'm sure I can't ever know
Love got overshadowed,
As we fed our ego
