Driving Deadly | Early Poems
An ocean gushes from my eyes
but my face is dry.
My throat weighs two thousand tons, and yet,
away from the ground I fly to worlds unknown by others.
A lazy eye winks at me and tells me to die.
The wind begins to swallow me, and I give in and say:
'Take me! Oh take me away with you! '
Then, quite suddenly, a snake appears and vanishes in the sky.
