Disarray

This feeling stirs,
Inside my heart.
I can not recognize it,
For it masks itself and,
Pretends to hide.

This feeling spreads quickly,
Like hot fire,
Through my entire being,
And surrounds my mind,
With a fog.

This fog clouds any,
Judgment I have left,
So my life becomes,
One huge destructive mess.

I live in,
Fear, panic, and distress,
Only to discover what,
I have been feeling is,
Depressed.

This depression is,
Who I am,
It dwells within my,
Soul,
And I can never be,
Rid of it.

It stays,
And rots my mind,
For I can no longer fight it.
It has been rooted,
In my heart,
And to destroy,
Depression is to,
Destroy my heart.
