Breach
Like swimming to the surface
With swift strokes
to be envied
And penetrating the waters
That held my body
Under,
retired in the deep
Where I was
robbed
of oxygen and nearly
left for dead
I am
For the first time
in a long while
stretching
closer to that resplendent exterior
which has always,
eagerly
been waiting for my approach
I know it’s powerful
allure
will not draw me much longer
So I’m advancing in
earnest stride
My resolve will accelerate me past layers
of obscurity until I
transpire
