Blue Lit Clouds
How my mind travels
And longs to be among the stars,
With the blue lit clouds
Surrounding me,
As I listen to all the wishes
That has been wished upon each star,
And only hope that they may be fulfilled,
Because everyone deserves fulfillment
Within their lives
To reassure themselves
That there is still hope to be sought,
And there is still time
That their wish can be fulfilled,
But not because of some higher power,
But simply because
They believe it can happen
And they have found
The strength to believe
In themselves and with that strength
Were able to fulfill their wish
On their own and on their own doing,
Because they now know in order
To fulfill themselves,
All they have to do is
Fulfill their wish,
Which they wished upon a star
One night when everything
Seemed less than they wanted,
When they realised
They can be more than they were then,
And after this sudden revelation
They wished,
They wish upon a star.
Which is why my mind travels
And longs to be among the stars
Because each star, to me,
Represents all the dreams and wishes
Of all the people on Earth,
And it fulfills my wish,
Which I wished long ago
On a star high in the blue lit sky
That I may never be alone.
