Battle of the Heart
Depression, everyday is fighting
knowing exactly what it takes
to keep my love for Him
to stay in His cold, rough embrace
New love, new affection
one that is SO sweet
having this new love
everyday is a wonderful treat
Depression's time is almost up
He'll break my heart
to make me stay
before my new love starts
Hoping he wont succed
wanting this love to stay
never been this happy
without being with you everyday
Depression wanting me to stay
i want to move on and be with you
His hold on me is too strong
knowing our love IS worth moving on
Love so far is winning, sometimes love fails
but love tries His best to mend my heart
Depression is fighting for my attention
He is tearing my heart out right now!
