Ancient Book
I found in some old market
An ancient book that speaks
Of forgiveness and assembling
Fragments
Of bitterness and sweetness.
It says he who burns the green leaves
Dethrones fruits from his heart
And he who sweeps a friend’s tears
Will sooner or later be healed from life’s changes.
And he who smiles to a painful heart
Thousands hearts will laugh with him.
