After A Long Winter
After a long winter
The trees begin to sing
Their warm tenors springing to every frozen crevace
The light glows
Illuminating the shadowed face of darknesss
The air moves
Freeing the breath of the pastures and
hills, which then whisper in speculation:
'Sunshine's smile does come my friends,
and a cruel callous winter makes for a balmier summer'
After a long winter a new hope dawns
A horizon awakes from restful slumber
Bringing joy and happiness to all who care to feel it's loving rays
