A List of Reasons
Sometimes I scream
I shout what I am feeling
Sometimes it hurts people
People I don’t mean to hurt
Sometimes people don’t understand
How sad I am
How lonely I feel
How lonely I have always felt
Sometimes people are afraid
They are afraid
That one day I will go to far
That one day I won’t be able to deal
With this world
Sometimes I am afraid
That no one cares
That no one notices
That what I write is real
What I feel is real
Sometimes people don’t understand
They don’t understand
How someone as happy as I seem to be
Can be so sad
So broken
So crushed
Sometimes people ask me why
Why am I like I am
I have a answer
But sometimes I am terrified
That if I tell someone
About what’s really going on
Then they’ll try to fix it
They’ll try to fix me
