A Girl To Remember
Whether she wants it or not,
in this life or the next,
she holds my heart,
and all it connects,
in her palm,
she loved me so,
I loved her back,
but now she must go,
away from me,
our tears will fall,
asking ourselves,
if their also staring at a wall,
through pain and fire,
I'll find you still,
even if eternity takes its fill,
my heart and my soul,
are yours to keep,
your forever in my dreams
my love and my sweet.
