A Baby In A Cradle
A baby in a cradle,
like Jesus in a stable:
Is a blessing, a joy-giver,
Treasure to keep forever.
What a joy a baby brings,
in a cradle as she swings.
Innocent look, a sweet smile,
will ease a burden for awhile.
When you hold a baby,
there is pride inside of thee.
Your heart seems cramming,
when the baby starts crying.
Feels like heaven when you watch,
the baby giggles and laugh.
You just can't help but laugh, too,
Every time you tickle the baby's toe.
A baby in a cradle,
is a precious gift from above.
Pride of the father and mother
the fruit of their purest love.
