I'm not looking my Someday best
I'm not looking my Someday best
The heart's smoked out abusively
And busted on the porn romance syndrome
And what with capricious bad verve
And morbid ecological anxiety
And sustained economic diarrhea
And acute political devaluation
And convulsive religious paroxysms
And blighted philosophical musings by morons
And the steady diet of mass media feeding frenzy
With everyone overlied and brain crisp¸
Not to mention the increased virtual dyslexia
Nor the arachnoid addiction to fail
Nor the ¢ash filled Gagaian cultural wasteland
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby ad nauseaum
And after the flood there comes dead aid
Of course I'm grumpy
Nothing is on time
Tic-toc suck my profanity
Or blame it on All Timer
Land's End in sight
And the great white oceanic pleasure ship, Hedonistic Nirvana
Casts off the mooring lines
When suddenly panic and hysteria seize the passenger list
Calling names, all beginning with U
Ill equipped to handle metaphysical questions
And the curs capsize Charon's lovely boat
Washed, at last, on the barren shores of eternity
Survivors crawl to the pearly barricade
Where a staunch broad winged doorman
Asks politely: "Tickets please"
What ticket? , murmurs the soul crowd.
I'm Christian a diaphanous denizen calls out.
You need a ticket,
I'm Jewish then.
Do you have a ticket?
OK I'll be Muslim.
Ticket?
I'm really Buddhist
That's next door, but you still need a ticket.
I'm screwed, chewed, and tattooed
An extended urban synonym for atheist
Here the white floating dude
Shakes his head disconsolately
Yet says nothing.
I just hate Someday.
