Soldiers
Shadows
never surrender
to the
darkness
and fury
of the storm.
Emboldened,
they stand firm,
as thrashing
rains and wind
soon tire
of the battle
Daylight tears
through skys
of the
weakening gale,
spilling on to
the battered,
exhausted terra firma
Revealing
weary,
valiant
heros.
Soldiers.
