Fake Forgiveness

You dissappeared when we needed you the most, you vanished, were nowhere to be found, you were just like a ghost

For two years from you we almost never heard a sound, and I accepted the fact that you weren't ever fully going to come back around

Then your life slip through the cracks, now you're here at our front door on your hands and knees wanting to come back

I don't know what you expected from us maybe to be welcomed with open arms and kind deeds, all I know is that you're not getting that kind of treatment from me, mainly because the likes of you don't deserve it you see

While you got to keep living you care free little life some of us had to inheirt a life full of nothing but pain, misery, struggle, and stife.

While you got to keep doing what you pleased, some of us our free time had to sell so others we could appease

While we had to let responsibility weigh us down, you kept doing whatever you little heart desired and that I will never be able to forgive you for I'm sorry but my forgiveness card has finally expired

Back in the days where from you we didn't hear a sound all I ever hoped for was that maybe you'd change your mind and come back around, but now that your here in my plain eye sight, to be around you, to even look at you is a stuggle, is a fight

I've always thought of myself as a forgiving kind of person but apparently I was wrong, because I'm starting to realize at you I was mad, enraged, and disgusted all along

I realize sitting here now I forgave you for HER sake, but I can't pretend anymore I have to face the truth of the matter, and the truth is that, that forgiveness was fake
