Last Tear
My heart cries out for you no longer
My mind has finally convinced it that it’s better off
You promised me a never-ending love yet all you gave me was pain and suffering
So last night as I prayed I finally cried my last tear for you
Because I deserve the never-ending love you promised but didn’t deliver
So I’m trading all my heartache and pain for joy
All my hate and anger for love
With Gods mercy and love
I now have peace with the way things went
Knowing that God is going to bless me
I move on and pray for you
So don’t think you broke me you didn’t
You only knocked me down, which put me in the perfect position to pray
And forgive myself and you
So you see with God’s love and direction I am just fine
God never closes one door without opening another
I can finally say I am ready for that door to be opened
And I have faith it’s going to be the best yet
