Un-Requited
Nothing but a faraway
Gaze
Breaking through my morning
Haze
It's got to be simply just a phase
Silence and nothingness
My head i must
Raise
As my heart and soul are
Ablaze
This is where my love
Lays
Empty and not returned
Many many passing days
Overwhelming lonliness
Stays
Constantly it
Betrays
My tears and sorrows
In the background the music
Plays
While i am in a numbed out
Daze
I have all of the means but not the
Ways
Lost and totally beaten
Nothing but a faraway
Gaze
Still breaking through my morning
Haze
Now i know it really is an imagined
Phase
Silence and nothingness returns
Forever
