There is absolutely no benefit
in being repeatedly proven right
with a time lag months of delay
due to being fed bogus
disinformation
from the star witness.
When all facts constantly fit
an original hypothesis
a good cross examination
in preliminary questioning
is key to solving such cases;
early. A key witness telling
the truth believing
disinformation
is fatal distracting
wild card red herring
causing inconvenient
lethal time delays.
All hail modern
improved
detective techniques
of twenty-first century
Sherlock Holmes
case solved no loose threads.
Still however exceptional
investigative detailed minds
are distinguished by innate
human intuition
application of logic
knowing nose for truth.
