The Two Most Precious Gifts
I would wait for you
for as long as I can,
for as long as I live,
if I can live without you?
I would give you
love and time.
The two most precious, priceless,
God given gifts of all.
My love will shine forth,
as vibrant rays encompassing pure joy;
like a refined radiant golden light,
in your desired destined, divine heart Louise.
My love will give you heartfelt healing peace,
release, from tormented unbidden memories;
set you spiritually, emotionally lovingly free;
to be with me, whenever you think of me, my love.
I will wait ten, ten
or twenty years, for exalted thee.
Then finally, at constantly longed for legendary end;
of this tortuous, horrible Homeric Odyssey;
when my pain felt, labours, journeys;
that time consumingly, I would preform begrudgingly;
as I wait wearied, in quest, in search, ardently for long lost thee;
are finally fulfilled; lovingly, exhaustingly.
When you, my love, are free
to marry impatient me.
If you still want, long suffering me,
that old grey beard,
that if I survive; I shall be;
then I will finally be with thee?
Until fatal moment my beating heart
shall cease pumping, within immortalized me,
but my soul shall dwell constantly with thee,
throughout all those hallowed ages of eternity.
I love you
more than life.
I love you Louise.
For you are my life.
