The Heart’s Of Men
It is said that ‘the heart's of men
are bad from their youth upwards.’
Sometimes the heart's of men
are provoked inflamed
by incidents that happen to them
men especially seem to carry
such anger more than most women
a mild reproach quietly spoken
may still inflame such souls
the truth a barb hooking
such souls in guilt fury livid
apparently the truth is
a two edged sword
beware back swipes!
what is real truth?
‘many a true word was
spoken in anger’
‘the truth will have its day’
about anger what to say?
Let us answer truthfully.
If we confess to believe in God
then we also believe in Satan
who desires to sow hate and anger.
We choose who we will serve!
Jesus said to give him our anger
to carry, and this we must strive to do.
With practice seems easier to do.
All that is good in me
comes from God
and his divine wisdom.
I do not judge I discern.
I did not promise God
I would not sin because
in thoughts and deeds
I fail constantly.
But I try and of the two
most important commandments
