From The Moment
from the moment
you open your eyes
until the moment
you close your eyes
your children
are constantly
under your feet
always next to you
seeking you out
your presence touch
when they sleep
they want to be
always next to you
during a nap by day
long hours sleep by night
from the womb time
these are your babies
your little children
little minds personalities
like brood chicks
to mother hen
under your wing
they seek comfort
warmth security
love protection food
this love this bond
this motherhood
this is a gift divine
this blessing children
