Friendship Blessings In Illness Adversity
after over a week
of nasty typhoid
an unpleasant
experience crippling
which induces
unintentional
extreme dieting
excessive sleeping
some pale introspection
when the earth moved
it left me unmoved
except in sympathy
for those in fear, pain,
suffering material loss
worse physical wounds
loss of loved ones
cycles of suffering
have many causes
too few sources of healing
thus in friends loved ones
are we usually most blessed
