cleansing waters
of restorative bathing,
reluctant to leave
sweet fragrance

under the strain
of this a new day.
We proceed to apply,
the first tentative
layer, of our
pleasing perfume.
As we apply ourselves
to applications needed,
to face our challenges
as challenges are greeted.
With this our new found
borrowed freshness of mind.
