Do Not Put Asunder
When we met briefly,
it was not you chiefly
that I was seeking.
I have dreamt of love
sent from above.
Our ages peaking.
As drops of rain
wash away pain,
you are the rainbow.
Each day we learn
that now is our turn.
In each other we grow.
Do not put asunder
that which lies under
the external veneer.
Joined by love
by the Grace from above.
To each very dear.
