The Disdain
Bygone beleaguered and upcoming vague
it's NOW that must sustain
Intolerable may the affliction be,
but borne the ephemeral pain
Nothing is enduring and must logically lapse,
to start all over again
Consistency is the only hallmark
one fervently needs to attain
A step in front of another,
on the long trudge one has to maintain
To witness the proverbial sunshine
following bucketfuls of rain
