So you want to be a Indian
living off the land
riding in the wind
fighting to make a stand
defending to keep what is ours
that you believe is yours
So you want to be a Indian
trying to live again
riding in the wind
sticking up for your right to be
so we can be free
So you want to be a Indian
living in poverty
you want to be like me
riding in the wind
living without a home
feeling you stand here alone
