There Is A Day When No Poem Can Come
THERE IS A DAY WHEN NO POEM CAN COME
There is a day when no poem can come
And there is another day
When all is poetry-
And inside one hears one’s own soul singing without end
And knows:
This is what one has been made for -
These words-
These sounds-
This depth of one’s own being
Far far far-
In a beauty greater than one can understand
Or know
How to be grateful to God for.
