The Real Poetry Always Waits to Be Written
The real poetry always waits to be written-
While we are laboring inside
Someone else somewhere else
With a voice unlike any other heard before
Is writing it in a true way.
And all our dedication
And all our diligence
Years and years of effort
Mean only that we are not
That new voice someone else is.
