The Pain I Have Now
THE PAIN I HAVE NOW
The pain I have now,
Makes any poem seem unreal.
If only I could stop hurting
Poetry might return to me again.
Somehow in my mind
Poems are for happy times
And blessings.
In pain
I feel no poem,
Only these lines
Of confession
And difficulty.
