The Days Go By
THE DAYS GO BY
The days go by
The years-
I am here now
As if there will always be time
For them to go by-
But they are going by
And I am not stopping them
They are going by-
They are not asking me-
One day in one of them
I will no longer be here-
The days will go by without me.
