Free
You held me captive for far too long,
I didn't realize you were that strong.
There were no chains, no locks, no bonds.
And somehow now I'm free.
Your smile, your touch, they held me tight,
I was distracted whenever you were in sight.
You controlled my dreams when i slept at night.
I don't know how I've been set free.
You stood so tall when over me,
over my desires you gained mastery,
But one day i opened my eyes to see,
Thank god I'm finally free.
