Nuit d'Amour (Love's Night)
In the secret, silent night,
When all stars have taken flight,
And the cares that plague the moon,
Drown in Lover's deep Lagoon,
Sleepless is the Loveless One,
For his love is lost and gone,
In the mist that's just begun,
Where all Memories are spun.
And the Past becomes undone.
There a Love so deep and true,
Crossed the skies, the Ocean too,
In a thunderous embrace,
We saw Heaven, face to face.
And I loved you while I could,
But you never understood,
That in Worlds so far apart,
Love was doomed, right from the start.
