If You Only Knew
If you knew how much I love you,
Would you be willing to take a chance?
If I held my hand out to you,
Would you join me for a dance?
If I opened my arms up to you,
Would you come for my embrace?
If I asked you to simply look at me,
Would you look upon my face?
If I asked you if you would see me,
Would you gaze into my eyes?
If I told I know what true love is,
Would you believe another’s lies?
If I told you that I had found the way,
Would you walk right by my side?
For the destination is inevitable.
We are here to enjoy the ride.
