Eternity - Dedicated to those we have lost
The time we spent together here.
Went by so very fast.
The laughs we had, the tears we shared.
The memories that last.
If I could have but one more day.
There's so much more I'd share.
I'd show you how much I love you.
But life can be unfair.
I look forward to when we'll meet again.
In a place much better than here.
But until that time, I'll see your face.
In the reflection of my tears.
I thank God for His gift He gave.
I look forward to the day.
When you will meet me at the gate.
Though I wish that you could stay.
Goodbye to you, I'll miss you so.
I know you're up above.
You have found peace and happiness.
In the place that's full of love.
You'll always be in my thoughts and dreams.
And forever in my heart.
Your life down here, it had to end.
So your eternity could start.
