Denial
Our greatest weakness.
Is called denial.
Defending our faults.
Like living on trial.
From weakness comes strength.
Abandon all fear.
Confront all you are.
Make flaws disappear.
Make God your leader.
His spirit your guide.
Turn your wrongs into rights.
Changing you from inside.
We all lack the faith.
From the greatness He brings.
We are denying The One.
To ourselves we do cling.
We embrace the creation.
Not the creator himself.
This lie, it will rob you.
From a life full of wealth.
His life is abundance.
Our lives are deceit.
We deny what is good.
We live in defeat.
We look in the mirror.
Yet a window is clear.
We deny what He offers.
Pride's what we hold dear.
The world offers no answers.
But we continue to seek.
Solutions to questions.
From those just as weak.
We think He gets angry.
When we make our mistakes.
But in fact He is crying.
As he watches us break.
He just wants to fix us.
Like a good father would.
But we do what we want.
And not what we should.
