A Simple Fact
The future speeds ahead of me
Somehow of my making
A distance venturing
Into unsettled territory...
A highway with a clear direction
Takes me further along
A route without boundary
To a place of compensation...
And I realize years ago
It was the same struggle
The need for expression
Was the reason behind the goal...
