The sweet stays.
The fading memories still fill the heart
Like the wind’s footfalls on the lonely
desert.
Sweet memories are the persistent calyx
That wraps up the sap of the fallen fruit.
Sweet memories are the Arabian attar
That overspread the decaying pulp.
A man dies rather with sweet memories.
