Time and Eternity
YOUR smile is old,
and time has changed a lot
even a hundredfold
you snob me
you smirk, you tighten your
laughter into
a frown,
it does not work
ditto,
it just does not tick anymore
you've got to change
somehow
i do not really know how
or what or when
time has a way of changing
what it needs,
it discards expectations,
it hates the monotony of never changing rules
it has a style of its own
and no one knows what is really next
taste of passion
i like time,
i like its way of experimenting
moments,
with all of us, its subjects
and objects
of its hours and
days
i do not wish that it may like me too
on such a
vested interest of
a mutuality
i hate to accept this
but time is with me

it likes the way i dislike it
and it dislikes me for liking it
and claiming that it is with me
