The Wish For A Duet With You
mine is hoarse yours is flat
but we as friends
wish to sing a duet for them
and they will laugh
the moment we start to sing
don't be mad
we will still try and we give
them the fun
that they are after
but keep the faith
whatever happens
since my voice is hoarse and
yours is flat
we still keep this friendship
it is not the duet
that counts it is this
day to day companionship
your arms on my shoulder
as we walk this
life together.
