The Dance Of Life
the steps are easy to follow
if we only follow
repetitive in fact and
numbered and it is the same
music all over again
handed to us
but something happens
interpolations and
matters are interchanged
substituted and prostituted
the steps become harder to follow
in fact unpredictable and surprising
this dance becomes so interesting
somehow i get out from the waiting line
jump into the circle and dance
the strange music that is played
eclectic, exotic, magical
bathing in my own perspiration i signal to you
saying that i am beginning to like it
this is the dance of uncertainty where tomorrow
may not come
