Temptation

What's forbidden had always seemed better,
Than those offered, as though, in frames,
While curious, Eve found the apple sweeter,
Even when moths had always sought the flames.
Fools find mystery in a stranger's smile,
Which they might not resist to unravel,
Or submit, willingly, to friend's veiled wile,
Laid, smoothly as sand, or coarse as gravel.
Do you see in smiles, some glint, so carnal?
And peruse, in thoughts, what the eyes can't see?
Will you pawn your soul to hell eternal,
For short moments of inept Ecstasy?
.......If not so sure, answer not, my friend,
.......Wait for the time, when you will be concerned.
