Love Sonnet 171 Through Windows Dark, Show How Wildly It Rains

Through windows dark, show how wildly it rains,
In rivulets, as though when pouring wine,
It floods the streets, and through the sewer drains,
And seeks the seaward creek to mix with brine;
Comes the sun, vapor rises to the clouds,
And drops as rain again, to awe my heart,
Unlike my love who left me cloud that shrouds,
All my days in grey, that would not depart;
Rains kept falling since, yet no love returned,
Now, raining like storm, yet no love is found,
Guess, if rainclouds yield, all the the rain that's churned,
Still I've known my love would not come around;
.....Rain may come and go, any other day,
.....But wish I, my love would just come and stay.
