Love Sonnet 166 When Joy Has Fled The Confines Of Your Heart

When joy has fled the confines of your heart,
And to sadness is where you sally forth,
Had you been queen, still nary could you thwart,
Events where even clowns can't be of worth;
Some solace you might find in truth and faith;
That enlivens the soul, but not your mirth,
When love has turned to nothing but a wraith,
Of what it was, before being in dearth;
For, all the clowns and jesters in your court,
Won't brighten up the days of one who grieves,
Only by coming back, your self transport,
To where is home, as what your heart believes,
.......Will, once again, true happiness abide,
.......In lonely dreams that once you've cast aside.
