Love Sonnet 153 With Sultry Smile, Would Come A Vow To Keep

With sultry smile, would come a bow to keep,
Care not neglecting, to enlist the truth,
Might this hopeful fool, it would cause to weep,
Once leafy boughs would fail to wield its fruit;
When bud appeared, it spoke of promised bloom,
Whilst said in jest, it smacked of having lied,
Where happiness should be, now lies but gloom,
Niggardly kiss, has but Heaven denied;
But fools may seek, some place where else to glean,
For love that reapers may have left for them,
Where Fate would prove, not previously, as mean,
And there, to bask on sparkle of found gem;
.......Yet, as drift the time's unplanned Odyssey
.......The heart longs for the native shores to see.
